Is a paid gender filter worth it?
Sometimes. A filter on a big random pool is a sieve: it removes most of what you didn't want, the crowd you were filtering stays the same, and a share of mislabeled accounts slips through. If you're paying every week to sort strangers, it's worth asking whether you want a filter at all, or a site where the people on the other end are already who you were looking for.
